• Tyre Team has been a family owned and operated business which has steadily grown since 1970. Initial locations were St Mary’s and Granville and where Tyre Team established a strong network in the local area as well as a reputation for uncompromising workmanship and customer service for all things wheels & tyres.

• However an unpredicted event in the early 1990’s created a unique opportunity for growth and strong competitiveness when State Rail redeveloped the Granville Tyre Team site. This necessitated a move to a much larger site in Smithfield and set the scene for the next phase of dynamic business growth.

• A large scale tyre wholesaling business was now possible and it was this expansion which increased the buying power of the business and thereby enabling customers to make dramatic savings.

• The wholesale tyre business known as “Trade Tyre Distributors” collaborating with the Tyre Team outlets has now been realised as the holy grail of business because there is access to lower prices, a huge inventory that includes imported products such as American Eagle wheels and an expert knowledge of precise customer requirements and individual driving styles.

• All Employees have been carefully recruited for their experience and technical qualifications, reliability and attentiveness to detail and there are regular opportunities for staff to sharpen their skills in customer service.

• Tyre Team stores are located in Smithfield and St Mary’s with new stores to be announced in the coming months

• Each Tyre Team store today contains a fully equipped and licensed mechanical workshop where a range of diagnostic and repair services can be conducted on most makes and models in the market.

• Tyre Team recognises the fragile nature of our world therefore employs environmentally friendly waste disposal systems throughout our premises. We are dedicated to upholding a wheel & tyre recycling process that meets with industry Standards
